I am happily married to my high school sweetheart, Luke, who is completing his family medicine residency. We have an adorable 2 year old daughter, Noelle, and we are expecting our second child in October!
I am a blog & Pinterest enthusiast, and I thought it was about time that I start my own blog to share ideas and strategies I have tried in my own classroom. In a time where teachers are under constant scrutiny and stress, I think having a way to connect with other teachers and share (or lovingly steal) ideas is so incredibly important. I don't know how many times I have felt run down and unmotivated, but then an awesome lesson or activity comes up on my screen and I am energized and excited again.
When I'm not teaching or spending time with my family, I love to shop at Target, watch 48 Mysteries, cheer on the Colts, take Zumba classes, go to craft stores, and buy anything chevron.
